Facts about EDISON Explorer EDISON Explorer is a critical and creative thinking program for ages 6-12. Lessons teach thinking skills in the framework of theme related units in the areas of science, history, literature and the arts. Children learn about the world around them and apply thinking skills. Strategies are repeated over and over in different situations and activities. Repetition in varying situations reinforces the skills and show a variety of ways the skills might be used. Events held twice a year give children more chances to use critical and creative thinking skills outside the classroom. Parents are encouraged to reinforce the strategies at home with the Today’s Lesson sheets provided each week.
